1. First, view a sample student reflection after the tutorial process.

 

2. Watch both of these videos about the higher-level reflections that happen at the end of tutorials and answer the questions below on a page of Cornell notes. Video 1 and Video 2.

  • How can you get students to reflect about their learning around their point of confusion (POC)?

  • What does Matt's reflection involve?

  • What does the reflection process look like in your class and how can you increase rigor?

 

3. Dicuss these two questions with the AVID Elective teacher at your site and record the procedures for your particular site. (If you are at multiple sites, please choose one site and indicate which site/teacher you are referencing in your discussion/interview).
